Twins of Faith was priceless! Thank you Mercy Mission.

I was touched. :')

Peace be upon to you. On 28 and 29th Dis, I attended Twins of Faith powered by Mercy Mission. This was my very first time. Listening to various muslim speakers from entire world, like saudi arabia, ireland, united kingdom, australia, canada and et cetra really amused me. That was too much to be shared here. Too much knowledge. Too much thinking. Too much to be corrected. Yeah, too much to correct in me.

This's how it started.

Mercy mission held this programme with really great budget. Yeah, you can tell it when you see it by yourself. The main programme was Twins of Faith. On the same time, there was several workshops, kids corner or what they called 'play and pray', marriage corner, and booths offering muslimah blouses, jubah, islamic educational programmes, coookies, tafseer dvd, shirts and too much too write. The theme of this year, 2013 was THE SUNNAH THE BETTER.

It made you know your prophet more. And it also told you that you dont know much about the first most influece man in the world, Muhammad s.a.w, but you keep telling the not-yet-muslim about how great your prophet is. Pfftt..

Ain Syafa, my really best ukht bought me a ticket for RM150 (earlybird) online. So kind of her. We went there by car. Not so much advantureous. I slept throughout the ride. Syafa's dad drove us there.

I went there with four of them. Can you see that graffiti? That was made by Mohammed Ali, graffiti artist. You can google to get more info about him. Ehe. When he was doing this on the stage, there was an artist and poet (Kamal Saleh) that gave soft background music. Making me sleep throughout their perfomance. Ehe. The hall was dark, the music was too pleasant and I couldnt help it. Ehe. And when I woke up, wallaa! the graffiti was soo awesome. What made this graffiti so terrific and special? Because it contains Islam in it. All in all,use your ability to spread Islam.

In the hall. Really big hall. Ok now, pay your attention as I would like to introduce you to the line of awesome speakers ;

Sheikh Taufique Chawdhury. (Hard to spell, easy to tell huh)
He is the chairman of Mercy Mission. MM (I just shorcut it kay) is really great medium in dakwah in the international level. There're conducting various projects. You can know more by this link. Oh, and I bought his DVD. About tafseer of juz tabarak, juz 29. He's a surgeon but at the same time leading mercy mission. He's just too awesome, too good making me want to be just like him. Really! I was almost getting his autograph, but he was in hurry on that time, and me too. I'd to go home at 6. And he would sign his DVD at 8. How that can be done? So I.. redha je la.

Sheikh Alaa Elsayed
Instructor of alKauthar Institute. I really love the way he talks. Really really touched, spanked, and stabbed my heart. You can find him in google and youtube. Ohoh, and there was time when he conducted a slot which offer the audience to do infaq. The style of his talk on that time was like 'jualan lelong'. Seriously. Infaq? Sedekah. It was started with RM 100 000 a year.

So there was a brother and a sister stood to infaq. In my mind, there must be really rich to do so. Ehe. But what I amused me more, the sheikh prayed for them and EVERYONE in the hall say 'ameen'. Allahuakbar. "Sangat menaikkan bulu roma". The sheikh says like this " For sister Roshaini. Oh, Allah may you give a best husband for her, and protect her, her family, her wealth from your azab, and may she and all of her beloved will enter jannah and meet you, oh Allah."

Then, the prices lower until RM 10 000 in a year. (kalau tak silap lah). We also were given a chance to infaq. The volunteers gave us form to be filled and it can be done by cash, bank transfer, and online.

Sheikh Sajid Umar
Also instructor of alKauthar Institute. Syafa said that he and I have the same look. She said he have my smile. Erk. I don't know, may be you who read this can tell me how close our looks are. He could recite alQuran until he cried. It impressed me. But, he's really modest. Really humble. Follow him on twitter. Oh, and he also has app in playstore. just search "Sheikh Sajid Umar".

Sheikh Daood Butt
For the first time, hearing his name. My friend laughed, because of his family's name. Ehe. But he has a really beautiful voice in reciting Quran. But he got to talk only once, I would love to listen to him next times. What I remember most from his talk is a father who just realized his sins in 45 years living, and just starting to pray a week ago, telling his son to pray. And what that 20-year-son say? "What's the problem dad? You ask me to pray after you just prayed for a week ago. In 20 years of my life, you never asked me to do so. Chill out dad."

Bang. Straight to my heart. How pity that father is. He's repented but there's other obstacles that he's to face. The situation depicted real life today.

Sheikh Assim al-Hakeem
He's from Saudi Arabia. An imam of a masjid in Jeddah. He talked about 'love the young ones'. By listening to sirah he told, really made me love prophet muhammad s.a.w even more. On how mercy he was to the young ones like Anas bin Malik, Hasan and Husin. Our prophet had the most beautiful akhlaq that could be followed.

And others like
Omar Regan - an actor, comedian from America
Kamal Saleh - spoken word artist from Australia. (must-search-him-on-youtube)
Sheikh Abdur Rahman McCarthy
Mohammed Ali - graffiti artist
Fathi Otmani - Nasyeed Artist

You can search them via google or youtube.
Alright?

I'm sorry because of the not-rotated-picture. Saya nak cepat. Ehe.

This is DVD that I bought that I'd told you earlier in this entry. RM97. They said, it was after discount. The initial price is RM147. Just forget about the price because knowledge of Quran is priceless.

OH OH. I would like to tell you how we went home on that saturday night (28/12).

This is photo of PICC,Putrajaya in the night. The programme would be end at 10, but we've to go back early because this was the first time we using public transportation in Putrajaya. From PICC, Putrajaya to Jelatek, Ampang.

We waited at bus stop, to take rapid bus. As we're heading to Putrajaya Sentral. The fee was only RM0.50. Make sure you dont exceed the price because you would'nt get the 'baki'. The journey of the bus included presint 9, presint 12 or I can say the housing area? Yeah.

When we'd arrived at putrajaya sentral. We bought a ticket of ERL. Or people say KLIA transit. Because the ERL would pass through KLIA. That's why you would meet gorgeouss stewardessess and charming pilotss. Okay, I'm joking. Sebenarnya aku tak jumpa pun pilot, stewardess ja.

The ticket's price was RM9.50. Because destination of the ticket was KL Central.

Then when we'd arrived at KL Central. We took LRT. The price of the token is RM2.10. Heading to Jelatek. As we stayed at Jelatek, my very good ukht, Hanis Aqilah. The one who wears tudung labuh kelabu itu.( dalam foto waktu malam di picc ) Her parent's house is really pleasureable and beautiful. It's a condo.

Thanks to her ! Oh, and our journey took about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Ok lah kan. Nama pun kenderaan awam.

Oh, And we exprienced meeting new people from other country like Pakistanian, his name is Solahuddin. He drove us from putrajaya sentral to picc in CayenneS. Wah! Memang mewah lah kereta tu. Saya jakun. Uhuhu.

\

Background : The volunteer who offered us ride and drive us to picc.

And what other experiences we had? Oh, I saw adek elfira loy. Apa ya namanya? Can someone remind me, mmm.. It was great to see great people out there attending great event.

You see anything weird on the mirror. The 'jangan ambil wudhu' di tandas' sign? Haha. I want to laugh if someone reminds me of that. Why did the cleaner paste that warning. Because we're ones who took ablution at the sink. It wasnt our fault 100% because the surau didnt have the pipe or place to take wudhu. And everyone did the same. But I dont know why we're the only yang-kena-tegur. Haiiihh..

Oh other experience was, using jamban/toilet which tolong-istinjak-kan-pengguna. No pipes. Because they dont want to wet the floor.

And an advice from me, when you're using 'tandas duduk'. Please make sure you place tissues or any 'lapik' because we couldnt sure everyone who're using the toilet before had cleaned it.

Ah,tak kesahlah dia orang lap atau tak tempat duduk kat jamban tu, letak je tisu. Bayangkanlah orang lain duduk dan tunaikan hajat (buang air), lepas tu orang lain pula guna. Lepas tu kau orang pula guna. Eeewww. Please people! Cleanliness is crucial!

Below are more photos we took at the wall which had graffiti of Mohammed Ali ;

See that lovely words? Syafa who started it. Anyone could write on that wall. And she ended up writing this! So that red-coloured-writing was mine as a reply of her confession. You should know something, having a sahabat that appreciate you is really a great gift from Him. So appreciate her/him.

On that wall, Syafa found this. "It always seems impossible until its done" Soo true T..T

So,this's the end. In the future, I'll write about the hikmah that I got during Twins of Faith, or I can say the hidden values.*Double jerk. In shaa Allah. Soo much thanks to all of you who read. JazakumAllah khair.

Wassalam.
Smile.

  1. Assalam, Hi..how are ya doing..
This is really an awesome post! came here from Fatin Liyana's blog, thru the comment you'd left there.
It's a blessed that you'd been able to make it to the event by MM. I'm sure you had the best experience in your life... Enjoy reading your post. Great mind... :)

I love the quote written on the graffiti "It always seems Impossible until its done..."! It reminds me of how fragile a human can be. Its a human things to go about something in a safe approach. And only an extra-ordinary human that experiences amazing things because he or she had chosen not to approach things as human... Ehe.. (like that part of gigg).

So all the best to you and your wonderful friends!!! Nice to meet you. Keep up the good work!!! Assalam..
